Come Join Us!
We love our students! Youth group is an outstanding way for our students to grow together in their faith and form strong bonds with each other. We can't encourage this ministry enough and we are SO excited to meet your children! Our Youth programming is for students in grades 6th - 12th.
Wednesday Night Youth
Wednesdays 6-8 p.m.
FMCC Annex | 200 Progress Road
WNY is the main way our middle and high schoolers get to develop strong friendships and a relationship with God on a weekly basis. We encourage our students to invite their friends and make this youth group their own. It is so important to us that they are having lots of fun with each other but diving deep into God’s Word in their small groups. We love seeing age groups keep a tight-knit bond with each other during their time in our youth group.
We are blessed by meals provided by church members each week, and are so appreciative to each person who takes the time to prepare the food items. If you would like to sign-up to bring dinner, desserts, or drinks, you can visit our sign-up below.
Sunday School
Each Sunday, the youth gather at 9:30 a.m., at The Annex, located at 200 Progress Road, Collierville. We dive into the scripture, discuss a variety of topics, Bible Stories, and lessons, all to help us grow closer to the Lord. We wrap up at 10:30 a.m. to join the 11:00 am worship.
Confirmation
Confirmation Class meets each Sunday morning, at 9:30 a.m., during the school year. Led by three wonderful volunteers, Mr. Matt Keyser, Mrs. Amy Bradham, and Mrs. Mandy Bilbrey, Confirmation is primarily offered to our 6th grade students, but youth of all ages wanting to go through the class are welcome. The class spans from September – May, and culminates in a special Confirmation service during Sunday worship.
Confirmation is an opportunity to respond to the grace of God available to us, as acknowledged in baptism, and to promise to live as a person of faith. “Confirmation and reaffirmation are our responses of commitment, profession of faith, and rededication.”
Mission Trips
We learn a lot together inside our church, but it's venturing out into the world where we get to be the hands and feet of God. Setting aside time to do mission work, attend a camp or conference where you are poured into with the word of God, and experience the love of Christ amongst your peers is such an important way to grow in faith. We would love for you to join us on an upcoming trip!
Stay In The Know
Join us for some great activities this fall and winter!
Interested in becoming a youth volunteer?
Our volunteers are the backbone of this ministry and we LOVE them! Our volunteers are needed to plan activities, food, etc. and attend events with the youth. They work hard to make sure each of our youth are provided what they need to have an enjoyable experience & help guide our students on their faith walk.
